Chevening Scholarships

Chevening logo

Chevening Scholarships and Fellowships are prestigious study awards available to international students for study in the United Kingdom. These awards provide an opportunity for young, highflying graduates to study their chosen subject, and to meet and network with their peers in the unique learning atmosphere that the United Kingdom provides. The Fellowship scheme offers awards for mid-career professionals in positions of leadership and influence to study in selected fields on shorter courses. The Chevening Scholarship scheme over the last year or two has become more sharply focussed. The emphasis is now on areas that are of importance to British Foreign Policy over the coming years such as climate change and the United Nation’s Millennium Development Goals

The Chevening scheme is named after Chevening House in Kent, the official country residence of the British Foreign Secretary.
