Passport fees
You can pay your passport fee by Bank Guaranteed Cheque, a Travel Agent's Cheque (if a member of IATA) made payable to British High Commission, Mastercard or Visa. Payment form [PDF 94kb, opens in new window]
Please note: do not pay by personal cheque or send cash, fees are subject to change without notice.
Add NZD $7 for courier delivery within New Zealand. (Please note if you live outside New Zealand please refer to the "Applying for a UK Passport in New Zealand" about courier delivery process)
Unless you are collecting it in person, passports will be returned by courier post and must be signed for upon delivery. If two or more passports are being processed at the same time, only one courier fee will normally be required. If you live in a rural delivery area, write 'Rural Delivery' by the return address.
On 9 April 2009, the new Consular Table of Fees was introduced by way of the Consular Fees Order 2009. This order enables fees to be charged to cover the cost of processing an application.
From 6 October 2009, new fees for applying for a passport have been introduced.
As from 1 April 2008, no refunds will be issued for unsuccessful or fraudulent passport applications or for any applicatoions which are withdrawn before they are completed.
Please also note that "temporary" or "emergency" passports are not issued in New Zealand.

48 - page Adult Passport (valid 10 years) NZD $346.00
