Pitcairn goes to the polls
Pitcairn will go to the polls on 11 December (12 December NZ time) to elect four Councillors and a Deputy Mayor. Probably the smallest electorate in the world with a Register of Voters filling less than one sheet of paper, t he islanders will attend the public hall in Adamstown to cast their votes under the watchful eye of the Recorder, New Zealand-seconded Community Police Officer, Peter Easton.
Eligible voters who are currently travelling overseas have the option to vote by proxy or in person at the Governor’s Office in Wellington or Pitcairn Islands Office in Auckland.
